What’s The Meaning? is MOLE‘s first release for RareNoise. Above and beyond wonderful pianist Mark Aanderud and master drummer Hernan Hecht (also present on Brainkiller) it features the talents of Luri Molina on upright bass and the wonderful David Gilmore on electric guitar.
What’s The Meaning? takes clues from EST‘s best productions and offers gentle nods to even Radiohead or The Mars Volta (Aanderud played on their Octahaedron), but never strays from its musical path – that of an incredible and fresh new take on the modern piano and guitar led jazz and jazz rock quartet.
