Naked Truth are Lorenzo Feliciati on bass, Pat Mastelotto on drums, Roy Powell on hammond, fender and prepared piano and Graham Haynes on electrified cornet.
This new lineup, featured on their latest RareNoiseRecords release Ouroboros, coalesced at the end of 2011 as original trumpet player Cuong Vu had left the group (replaced temporarily by Nils Petter Molvaer) after recording Shizaru, also released on RareNoiseRecords in July 2011.
Naked Truth's sound is a powerful amalgam of early 70's jazz-rock (Miles, Weather Report and RTF) and King Crimson sensitivities.
Ouroboros is Naked Truth's second release for RareNoiseRecords - Recorded in part in Bill Laswell's studio in Orange under the watchful eye of engineer James Dellatacoma, produced by Lorenzo Feliciati and mixed by Bill Laswell, Ouroborose sees the wonderful Graham Haynes replacing Cuong Vu on Cornet, as the band, formed by Lorenzo Feliciati on bass, Roy Powell (of InterStatic) on Hammond, Fender Rhodes and prepared piano and Pat Mastelotto (of Stickmen and King Crimson) on acoustic and electronic percussion.
Ouroboros gains in intensity compared to its predecessor whilst maintaining its musicality. The result is a mindblowing trip through jazz-rock, psychedelia and electric jazz, ideally bridging the worlds of 70's Miles Davis and King Crimson.

Shizaru, a.k.a. the fourth confucian Monkey that "does no evil" is the title of the first album by Naked Truth for RareNoiseRecords.
The band was created and produced by Italian bassmeister Lorenzo Feliciati (who also released his solo Frequent Flyer with RareNoise) and on this recording sees Roy Powell on Hammond, Fender and Prepared Piano, Pat Mastelotto on acoustic and electronic percussion and Cuong Vu (of the Pat Metheny Group) on horn.
Naked Truth fluently speaks the idioms of 70's electric jazz, early jazz-rock and King Crimson-esque progressive rock with colourful and idiosyncratic expression of musicality.
