RareNoiseRecords is the brainchild of Italian musician and producer Eraldo Bernocchi and Giacomo Bruzzo.

RareNoiseRecords will champion music projects and artists that sit at crossroads - crossroads between music genres, crossroads between audio and video and crossroads between studio and live formats.

RareNoiseRecords will release projects in which the apparent, formal distance of genre, format and medium is resolved into a new, coherent music form, where extremes become complementary and reinforce each other through imaginative, flawless musical and visual execution and audio reconstruction.

Our Artists, for the first six releases which will be released over the next six months are:

MEDITRONICA, a project by Ashtech and Paolo Polcari featuring Eraldo Bernocchi, Dub Gabriel and Raiz, pursues the integration of Dub, Electronica and Voices from the Mediterranean.

THE MANTRA ABOVE THE SPOTLESS MELT MOON will pursue a musical discourse from their roots in post-rock to new heights of electronica and exquisite rock song-writing.

METHOD OF DEFIANCE is Bill Laswell's latest massive combo here captured performing live on two successive nights in Japan, both in audio and video form. The group flawlessly moves from funk improvisation to drum'n bass urgency, to dub, to funk again and finally to dub again via jazz-rock fusion.

SOMMA, a project of Eraldo Bernocchi and visual artist Petulia Mattioli featuring Bill Laswell, is dedicated to achieving true music of the world, rather than world music. It subtly juxtaposes Mediterranean Vocals, Electric Jazz, Dub, Tibetan chanting and horns into a coherent and magical audiovisual experience. Somma is live, improvised yet absolutely coherent and explicit.

DEATH CUBE K is a dark ambient project revolving around Buckethead, Bill Laswell and DJ Submerged exploring the depths of darkness.

PARCHED is an ambient guitar duo featuring Eraldo Bernocchi and Davide Tiso exploring light and texture in a red desert.
